Mohd Nazri Husain

 

I am a dynamic and ambitious architect with 16 years of experience and extensive BIM knowledge, having worked on a variety of projects and constructions ranging from residential houses to commercial and institutional buildings, as well as urban design and transportation buildings.

Currently, I am working for IJM Construction Sdn. Bhd. as a BIM & Architectural Manager. In this role, I am the person in charge of all aspects related to the ICQC RTS Johor Bahru project, including design and development, relationship management, problem-solving, discernment, communication, architectural excellence, decision-making and collaboration, local authority submission, and execution of the project from inception to completion, as well as setting up BIM Level 02 implementation.

During my tenure at my previous architectural firm, SA Architects Sdn Bhd, I managed and completed several major projects from inception until handing over. These projects include the KVMRT SSP Line 02 (comprising 10 underground stations and 5 elevated stations) and Malaysia’s first bus rapid transit in Bandar Sunway. The BRT Sunway Line, which includes six stations with complex BRT Park N Rides, was completed in June 2015. Additionally, in 2022, I gained experience on another mega project, EDTP Gemas Johor Bahru (11 stations), serving as the lead architect at YTL Construction. Other projects I successfully managed include the Sunway Medical Centre Phase 3 Extension Line, which includes Park N Ride facilities, the Sunway Gym Centre, and the 27-story Tun Razak Exchange Tower project.

I was very fortunate to contribute my design proposals and participate closely from inception to realization for these projects while fulfilling the Graduate Architect Part 2 scope of work.
